IHH Healthcare Berhad ("IHH or the Group") is a leading international provider of premium healthcare services in Asia and the Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa ("CEEMENA") region. We are the second largest healthcare group in the world by market capitalisation and are listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia and the Main Board of SGX-ST. IHH is a prominent healthcare player in our home markets of Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and India, and with a strong presence in our key growth markets of China and Hong Kong. India now becomes IHH's fourth home market following the acquisition of Global and Continental hospitals in 2015. The Group is also present in Brunei, the United Arab Emirates ("UAE"), Macedonia and Iraq.

IHH's business units operate close to 10,000 licensed beds in 52 hospitals as well as medical centres, clinics and ancillary healthcare businesses across 10 countries, with over 3,000 new beds in the pipeline to be delivered through new hospital developments and expansion of existing facilities. IHH's "Mount Elizabeth", "Gleneagles", "Pantai", "ParkwayHealth" and "Acibadem" brands are well-known in Asia and Central and Eastern Europe, with a growing presence in the Middle East. The Group employs more than 30,000 people worldwide.

In Singapore, IHH has a network of four Joint Commission International (“JCI”)-accredited hospitals: Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. Through its hospitals, IHH provides a wide range of healthcare offerings. With over 900 beds, IHH is the one of the largest providers of private inpatient care in Singapore. IHH's hospital brands - "Mount Elizabeth" and "Gleneagles" in Singapore, and “Pantai” and “Gleneagles” in Malaysia - are among the most prestigious names in healthcare within the region and will continue to be the Group’s platforms for expansion into the rest of Asia.

In Malaysia, IHH's hospital network, operating under the "Pantai" and "Gleneagles" brands, is the second largest private healthcare provider in the country by number of licensed beds. The Group's hospital network encompasses 14 hospitals with over 2,000 licensed beds. Of these, Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur are JCI-accredited. The Malaysia Operations Division also operates Pantai Premier Pathology, Pantai Integrated Rehab, an ambulatory care centre and a primary care centre. IHH also operates International Medical College and International Medical University which offers both local and foreign medical programmes in Malaysia.

In Turkey, the Acibadem integrated healthcare chain – in which IHH holds a 60% share – operates more than 2,700 licensed and operational beds and launched one of the first and largest cord blood banks in Turkey. The Acibadem Group is Turkey's leading private healthcare provider with a network of 18 hospitals (16 in Turkey and one each in Macedonia and Iraq) and 12 outpatient clinics. Three of its hospitals in Turkey are JCI-accredited. The Acibadem Group has also entered into an affiliation agreement with Acibadem University, which supports its healthcare endeavours with quality medical training and education.

In India, IHH has a market presence through IHH's strategic partnership with Apollo Hospital Enterprise Limited, one of India's largest private healthcare providers. As at 31 March 2016, IHH has a 10.85% equity investment in Apollo. Apart from the investment stake, IHH has a 50-50 joint venture with Apollo for the Apollo-Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata and another for Apollo Gleneagles PET-CT Centre in Hyderabad. In March 2015, the Group announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad, India. In December 2015, IHH announced the completion of a 73.4% stake on a fully diluted basis in India's Global Hospitals.

In Greater China, IHH is one of the major international private healthcare players with a primary care network under ParkwayHealth of 10 medical centres: six in Shanghai, one in Suzhou, two in Beijing, and a flagship medical centre in Hong Kong.

In Brunei, IHH has a venture with the Brunei Investment Agency for the Gleneagles JPMC Cardiac Centre. In the UAE, we are providing consultancy and management services to Danat Al Emarat Women and Children's Hospital in Abu Dhabi, which opened in August 2015.
